Housing / Section 8 (Caldwell County)
Rental housing assistance is provided through the US Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Section 8 Program. Low income persons are eligible to receive assistance to support all or part of the cost of renting safe, decent and sanitary housing, based on their income level and subject to program capacity. The Section 8 Program allows assisted clients to choose where they want to live within the Region, by locating and selecting their own rental unit.
