The WPCOG is governed by a Policy Board which includes delegates and alternates appointed by each of the 28 city and county member governments. Each city and county member government has one vote. The Policy Board also includes seven non-elected members who represent the private sector.
An Executive Committee including a Chairman, Vice-Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer, Past Chairman and four at-large members is elected annually by and from the Policy Board at their November meeting. Officers are installed at the Annual Meeting in January.
The Policy Board meets in the evening on the Fourth Tuesday of every odd month. Executive Committee meetings are scheduled in the even months.
